As one of the original signed members of Kanye West's GOOD Music label, John Legend was an undeniable talent destined for greatness. I had the pleasure of working with him on his debut album "Get Lifted" which was a breakout success - going on to sell three million copies. We spent many hours in the Sony Music offices sifting through the images from the album photo shoot by Danny Clinch and listening to the new music – finally landing on an iconic image to capture his soulful and timeless sound.
